Life lately-first month check-in

How are we/you doing? How are you feeling thus far? Have you been able to chip away at some goals?

January booked out of here like its passport was about to expire jeesh!!!! I was able to attain some goals, and it really motivated me to work on this consistency challenge. I felt if you compartmentalize short term goals helped me to not see the bigger goals as long and large mountains to reach.

I also incorporated a vision board this year. Visions boards are good for me because I tend to lose myself into other people’s successes and not my own. When I get home I’m tired and drained, but that vision board has been giving me some motivation to keep going. I have many great projects I want to complete, and consistency is vital to the future life I’m romanticizing.

So what can you do to stay consistent:

1. Establish Healthy Habits Example: Go to bed by 10:30 p.m. each night and drink a full glass of water as soon as you wake up.

2. Plan Your Day Example: Write a short to-do list every morning with your top priorities before checking your phone.

3. Start the Day with a House or Family Meeting Example: Spend 5 minutes at breakfast reviewing everyone’s schedule, responsibilities, and any needs for the day.

4. Create a Dedicated Workspace Example: Set up a small desk in a quiet corner used only for work or studying—no eating or TV there.

5. Eliminate Distractions Example: Put your phone on “Do Not Disturb” and place it in another room while working for 45 minutes.

6. Focus on the Positive Example: End the day by writing down one thing that went well and one thing you’re grateful for.
