Keep pushing even when it appears tough!!

For the last few months it has been a struggle ( just know that I’m ok, however. it has definitely been a learning process for me and my family). I’m trying to get my health in order something that wasn’t a major struggle in the past, but now it is very difficult. The past two years or so my mood has met me upon arising, and before realizing what it is your mood is completely gone. Every morning, my intention is to wake up happy, vibrant, and productive, but my hormones come in like a “ninja in the night”, and chop away any good energy I have then I have to work around what I am able to control and deal with. Another stressor is the dream job I loved, but now despises. It has been so many changes this year, and now my team is no longer the red headed sep-child, but more so “Cinderella” with no prince in sight to save us. I’m trying to not to let this job consume my forwarding years to retirement, but a sis is tirrrrred. In this economy, I don’t know who can just jump from job to job and land safely rooted into their next endeavors. If you can, please send me the blueprint because my email will be tagged below. I just want to service my kids and leave still being able to explore this beautiful world they claim we have before checking out completely. With that being said, I will have to beat the menopause one day at a time because I intend to win in the end.

Here are some gems for pushing through when life is life-ing:

Approach the day with an intended purpose.

  • Believe in your vision: Keep your long-term goals and the future you want in mind to stay motivated.
  • Reframe challenges: View setbacks as opportunities to learn and grow stronger, and remember that success often takes time and effort.
  • Embrace resilience: Understand that you have the strength to overcome obstacles, and every small step forward counts.

Actionable strategies

  • “Keep moving”: Take consistent, small steps, even if they are slow. Take baby steps, so “If you can’t fly, then run, if you can’t run, then walk, if you can’t walk, then crawl, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward”as the great MLK-Jr explained.
  • Focus on the present: Tackle one concrete, actionable task at a time to avoid feeling overwhelmed.
  • Remember why you started: Remind yourself of your original motivation to keep going when things get tough.

Self-care and support

  • Prioritize self-care: Ensure you get quality sleep, eat well, and take breaks to recharge.
  • Build boundaries: Set healthy limits for yourself and your well-being to prevent burnout, especially when working with others.
  • Seek support: Lean on friends, family, or colleagues for encouragement and help.

The days are short this time of year, so work smart and make the most out of your weekends. The shift will happen, so don’t worry about when just be prepared for the day it will!!!
