Have you ever found yourself just stuck in a mood that you can’t get out of? If so, you’re just like me right about now where you’re doing a lot work , and you’re gaining in a lot of places, but you just feel stagnant lately. Life has been life-ing.

Although I’m making a lot of plans and preparations for the future, and it seems quite exhilarating to say the least, just getting through the day-to-day tasks can sometimes be a little daunting. So many expectations have been placed upon me, and not that I can’t get the task done it’s just the feeling of “unsuccessfulness” when your plate is too full. I tell my parents all the time that it’s like popcorn, you never know when it’s gonna begin to pop just let it keep simmering, and in the meantime celebrate the small pops of success. I should take this advice by myself 😜😄😜😄
So what’s your analogy on life I would love to hear it? Meanwhile my pointers to get over this hump should you be feeling the same are:
- The “chunking” Method: Break large projects into ridiculously small, non-threatening steps. Instead of “Clean Kitchen,” start with “Put one plate in dishwasher”.
- Use the Cluster Technique: Work for just 30 minutes, then take a 5-minute break to make daunting tasks feel shorter.
- Abide by the 2-Minute Rule: If a task takes less than two minutes, do it immediately to prevent backlog.
- Downgrade Your Standards: Embrace “good enough” over perfection. A rough draft can be edited, but a blank page cannot.
- Alternative Environment: Move to a new spot, take a quick walk, or listen to music to break the immobility.
As always “Never negate the Nu-N-U”
