In a world that often values perfection and constant productivity, it’s easy to forget that it’s perfectly fine to not always feel “okay.” We are constantly bombarded with messages that tell us to be happy, successful, and confident at all times. But in reality, life is a series of ups and downs, and it’s normal to experience moments of doubt, sadness, or anxiety.
When we accept that it’s okay to not be okay, we give ourselves permission to feel. Emotions—both good and bad—are part of the human experience. It’s when we allow ourselves to acknowledge these feelings that we can begin to understand them and heal.
Mental health is just as important as physical health, and taking care of ourselves means recognizing when we’re struggling and seeking support when needed. Whether that means talking to a friend, seeing a therapist, or simply taking time to rest, it’s a sign of strength, not weakness, to ask for help.
So, the next time you find yourself feeling less than your best, remember: you don’t have to have it all figured out. It’s okay to not be okay. In fact, that’s often the first step toward healing.
In closing, one must ask are you ok? What’s making you not be ok? Would you like to share more? A lot of times information is shared but no one ask how can we help! My thread is always open to discussion and offering resources.
