Not arguing with fools!!!!!!

“If silence be good for the wise, how much better for fools.” This is not my quote, but it resonates with me profoundly. I use to argue with people when they made me mad. I use to want to tell everyone what happened so I can prove that it is not me that was wrong, but the other person. However, I had an encounter where I could have been really ugly to someone that was ugly to me. Then tell my side to those that would listen trying to justify my point but at “this big age” I care not to argue with fools. I’ll simply not engage in conversation and will stop any form of communication. When sharing a space it is important to have good vibes and good connection. I am in a space where I would rather walk away, find another space if it will keep my head leveled and my positivity flowing.

We are such an entitled, yet, angry world and we wonder why the youth of today have so much animosity and hatred in their hearts. This generation is definitely about show me and give them the quick version or they’ll lose interest. We are supposed to be teaching better, living amongst each other better, and sharing common courtesy to each other. We keep our heads engulfed into media and struggle to socialize with someone sitting right next to you. What happened to good ole fashion sense, respect and love. We are technology driven yet so far behind in compassion and empathy.

I will continue to be positive, and not hang around those that are miserable. I will continue to lend a hand if you need it. I will always support those who are suffering, but I will not be humiliated or felt to believe that I should because you lack kindness. Right now, it is not worth me addressing a fool I will leave them be and move accordingly for me in kindness, gratitude, and compassion.

    In a world filled with hate and anger, to find humility and kindness is often hard or rare. I applaud your ability to realize we are all privileged..but the privilege should be that you are alive and sharing this space with others. Not that your race or economic standings make you better. We are all different but we are also the same. However, when the difference is indifference and ignorance, it is good to know you don’t have to expend your energy arguing. Ignorance doesn’t hear and don’t want to learn, they just have to make a point. And even though that point has no relevance some people will never change. It is a choice to do better, be better and learn that we live in a world , not an island. Communication is an art that we as as humans have not mastered or want to learn. If we knew how to communicate we would not have wars, domestic violence, school shootings and so many situations when quieting our actions would make the world better. Silence is golden…so to all the bullies ….Hush
